It's Tuesday. Glad the trailer A/C is working this morning at 7:30AM it was already 85°F. Our goal today is to land in the Cincinnati area. Only 2 routes  US 70 from Pittsburgh to Columbus and US 71 down to Cincinnati.  ( US 71 actually goes into northern West Virginia.  So if you're counting states add 1. As of today: NH, MA, CT, NJ, PA, WV, OH.

After about 5 hrs we've stopped at East Fork Ohio State Park about a30 minutes from the wedding venue. More of that later in the week. The site is very nice has full hookups which we'll have until Friday and then we mo e to a water&electric site for the weekend. Next few days just laying.

If the temperature comes down maybe a round of golf . Otherwise the lake here in the park...Thursday and Friday: wedding/family...4:30PM- 93°F

Monday (day 2)

We left Quakerwoods Campground around 8:30 AM ET. We decided to bypass the Pennsylvania Turnpike and the 8

$80. of tolls to get to Pittsburgh. A little longer but we lost all traffic and the road was very good. (US 78-> US 81->PA 22->PA 322->PA 99->PA22->US 70)

Stopped for the night at the Pittsburgh/Madison KOA Journey just off US 70.

It's been a few years since Bob and I have been able to hit the road but HERE WE GO AGAIN!

The stimulus is a wedding in southwest Ohio on June 27th ( also Bob's birthday).

Today is Day 1

I actually started on Thursday from Freedom, NH and stopped in Candia to pick up Bob and pay a scheduled visit with the dentist. Saturday we took in a Manchester Fisher Cats (A Toronto BlueJays Triple A affiliate ) baseball game.  Cats lost .

On Sunday morning we headed towards Ohio.

First night: Quakerwoods Campground near Bethlehem,  PA. The trip was almost uneventful...Google Maps assumes you're traveling in a passenger car and maps your route as such. About 10 miles from the campground we arrived a a bridge will not accommodate a pickup truck pulling a 30ft  Airstream trailer. Luckily there was an officer there to direct us downstream to a bridge we could cross. I hate to admit that this was not the first time getting to this bridge. I guess it's ti.e upgrade to a GPS mapping app for trucks and RVs.
