Today was a travel day. We left Cincinnati area and head north to Dearborn, MI. We stopped at Airstream Parts in Helena, OH to purchase a new rockguard window cover that got broken on our trip to Alaska a few years back. We're in Dearborn for a couple nites at the KOA Holiday. Today 7/1, we spent at the Henry Ford museum and Greenfield Village. Collections of cars, planes, furniture, appliances, bicycles, trains,... from. Mid-1800's to current. Presidential limos ( including the one Kennedy was assassinated in, the one that Reagan was in when Kinkley shot him...
The Lamy's Diner came from Rt 20 in Marlborough, MA. It opened in 1946 and was moved the museum in 2012.
Also the McDonald's neon.
Greenfield Village is a Mid-1800's town with a saw mill, potter, printer, glass blower, weavers.. all using tools and equipment from Mid-1800's.
